WHAT IS PERIODONTAL PROSTHESIS?

Periodontal Prosthesis also known as prosthodontics or oral rehabilitation is a dental specialty that treats patients with an advanced oral disease that affects teeth and their supporting structures (gums and bone).

Treatment in this kind of patients may sometimes need a team approach that requires esthetics, periodontics, implants, orthodontics, endodontics (root canal) and  even in severe cases maxillofacial surgery.
