Roberto Mejia
Dr. Mejia received his DDS degree from CES University in Medellin, Colombia in 1989. He finished his last semester education at the University of Illinois at Chicago that same year. During his first three years he worked as a general dentist and become a faculty member at CES University as an assistant professor. In 1995 he received his specialty degree in Periodontal Prostheses were he was trained in periodontics and prosthodontics treating very complex cases. In 2010 he went to Los Angeles, California for a one year training program in implant dentistry at the Global Institute for Dental Education and at the University of California(gIDE/UCLA) directed by Dr. Sascha Jovanovic, were he received his certificate of Master Clinician in Implant Dentistry.
Dr. Mejia not only has a private practice in implants and oral rehabilitation, but he has also lecture locally and internationally in Mexico, Cuba, Argentina, United States, Panama and Ecuador.
He has also coauthor several research papers and he is the cofounder and director of the gIDE/UCLA study club for Colombia.
Dr. Mejia enjoys spending time with his wife and two children and loves motorcycle touring around his country.
Services
We offer services in implant dentistry and oral rehabilitation (prosthodontics). We specifically treat patients that need crowns, implants, bone regeneration and those patients that wear dentures or partials for many years and are seeking for fix solutions to improve their smiles, function and aesthetics.
